Most probably you are using an older Internet Browser, perhaps version 4 - but even if you are using a current version, please read on to the next section below.

Using an older browsers will probably cause you problems when developing their web sites with our system. As such, we strongly suggest that you upgrade to the current version of your Internet browser which can be found at:

Microsoft Internet Explorer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp
Netscape: http://home.netscape.com/computing/download/index.html

If, after upgrading, or if you are using a current browser version, there is still a problem, the it could relate to a couple other items which you need to check and fix:

1) You may be blocking "cookies" which are needed to work with our system. To permit cookies, do the following:

  • With Internet Explorer go to "Tools"; "Internet Options"; "Privacy" and then slide the bar down to the bottom so it reads Accept All Cookies.
  • With Netscape, click "Edit"; "Preferences"; Double Click "Privacy and Security"; "Cookies"; Click "Enable All Cookies" and then Save.
2) You may have your security settings too high.
  • With Internet Explorer go to "Tools"; "Internet Options"; "Security" and on this page slide the vertical bar to it read Medium.
  • With Netscape, click "Edit"; "Preferences"; Double Click "Privacy and Security"; "Certificates" - choose Automatically; "Validation" - choose "Do not use OCSP for certificate validation".
3) You system may be behind a "fire wall". It is very common in businesses and school facilities (i.e. any place that has a lot of computers networked together) for them to install a "fire wall" to protect their system from outside computers accessing it. If this is not properly configured, it can prevent our system from finding your computer when it needs to return the results of a page. If you think this is the case, please check with the system administrator.
