Domain Name Sanity

If you already own a domain name, using our services will help you maximize its potential. You can use all of our services by transferring the domain name to our Registrar. In order to complete the transfer:

You must be the owner of a ".com", ".net", ".org", ".info",".biz", or ".us" domain name.
You must have already obtained the "authorization key" (also know as an "EPP key"). You should obtain this key from the current registrar.
The domain name cannot be expired or be within 2 days of its expiration date.
You must have access to the e-mail account which is shown in the current registrar's system. If you can no longer access that e-mail account, then you must have the current registrar update their records prior to starting the transfer.
You must have registered the domain name more than 60 days ago.
If you renewed the domain name within the past 45 days with the current registrar, that registrar can revoke the renewal.

The only cost to completing the transfer is that you must renew the annual registration fee for a minimum of one year from the current expiration date. The steps to complete the transfer are:

Initiate the transfer by typing your domain name in the box below and follow the instructions.
After we have reviewed the request, we will send an e-mail to you at the e-mail address in the current registrar's records to confirm the transfer which you must acknowledge.
The current registrar also will send you an e-mail requesting authorization to transfer the domain name to us which you must acknowledge.
The transfer is completed and we notify you. This process generally takes 2 to 10 days from the time the owner responds (depending on the level of cooperation of the current registrar).

When you are ready to proceed with the transfer, select the number of years, type the main part of the domain name in the box (e.g. DomainNameSanity), select ".com", ".net", ".org", ".info",".biz", or ".us" and click "continue".
